Barrier-free online banking, cyberJack® RFID comfort FON
The new chip card reader from REINER SCT offers accessibility for online banking and electronic signatures with 2-tone audio support for people with visual impairments or blindness.
Digitization in the form of electronic signatures has made a noticeable impact on public authorities, companies and home offices. It will significantly simplify electronic communication.
The e-file in public administration, the special electronic lawyer mailbox (beA), the special public authority mailbox (beBPo) or the special notary mailbox (beN) in electronic legal transactions between public authorities and the judiciary as well as many other institutions are using electronic signatures more and more extensively due to legal requirements.
People with visual impairments or blindness are also an integral part of this advancing digitalization.
To work securely and effectively with electronic signatures, they therefore also need barrier-free working conditions and the appropriate, secure hardware.
With the cyberJack® RFID comfort FON , REINER SCT has developed a barrier-free chip card reader for electronic signatures with signature cards. This enables people with visual impairments or blindness to recognize display messages for the electronic signature by the corresponding tone sequence (2-tone audio) and use them reliably.
For all other applications such as online banking and eID, the cyberJack® RFID comfort FON is a high-quality, classic comfort reader with all the necessary approvals from the BSI and the German banking industry.

A keypad sensing point on digit 5 is of course available. The audio signaling exclusively supports electronic signatures with contact-based signature cards and can be switched on and off. This means that people with visual impairments or blindness and sighted people can also use the same type of chip card reader.
