The challenge
The security of the Office accounts used by our customers is of crucial importance. In view of increasing cyber threats, it was necessary to strengthen the authentication processes and implement an additional layer of protection. The reason for introducing two-factor authentication (2FA) was therefore to improve the security infrastructure and maintain the integrity of confidential data.

The solution
Through our collaboration with Sysob, we came across the REINER SCT Authenticator – a tool developed for the secure management of Office 365 accounts. The deciding factor for this choice was the ease of use of the Authenticator. This 2FA hardware enabled uncomplicated management and labeling of different customer accounts. The introduction of 2FA via this authenticator went smoothly, without any significant challenges in terms of integration into existing systems.
The results
The introduction of two-factor authentication with the REINER SCT Authenticator was a complete success. No challenges arose that required a special solution. The extension of security measures in this way leads to a high level of trust among customers. As a result, the REINER SCT Authenticator is recommended to our customers for its security and usability. Data protection and customer confidence in the services we offer have been significantly strengthened.
