Interview with Mr. Jürgen Voit, Managing Director

Mr. Voit, please briefly introduce your company. Since the company was founded in 1999, we have been developing automation technology for industrial processing, production, assembly, testing and packaging systems. We offer our customers a one-stop shop for all the tasks required in this area, such as consulting, design, planning, production, commissioning and service. Over the years, the number of our customers has steadily increased and we have become a reliable and innovative partner for them. The satisfaction of our customers is based above all on our many years of experience, which enables us to react quickly and competently to customer requests and also to develop systems that can be constantly adapted to individual requirements. How many employees do you have and what working time models do you have? Our team consists of 15 employees. We currently have flexitime and part-time working models. We also employ temporary staff who are paid by the hour. What prompted you to consider using electronic time recording? Before we used timecard our employees recorded their project working times and travel times on a handout. This made both the calculation of orders and the invoicing of travel times cumbersome and time-consuming. This is because we have different hourly rates for travel times. We needed a suitable system to optimize these processes. What specific requirements did you have for the time recording system? We wanted to use electronic time recording to reduce manual effort and thus save time. In addition, it was important for us to create transparency: about the recording of working hours per project and the travel times of individual employees.
