How many employees do you have and what working time models do you have? A1 Dental employs 25 people. We currently offer flexitime, part-time and hourly paid temporary staff. We also offer working time accounts. What was the reason for considering the use of electronic time recording? We wanted to create a process that would make time recording standardized, efficient and easy. The use of a time recording system was therefore an obvious choice. What specific requirements did you have for the time recording system? It was particularly important to us that the electronic time recording system could be used to map employees with different weekly working hours. We also wanted software that would provide a perfect overview of vacation and other absences. This makes planning easier and prevents staff shortages. And we wanted to introduce flexitime to motivate our employees. The system also had to meet this requirement. Why did you choose timeCard time recording and not another system? One reason was definitely the price-performance ratio. Although we are not a large company, the purchase paid for itself in a very short time. The software is also easy to use, so that all employees can get to grips with it without any problems. We were also impressed by the option to flexibly expand the scope of services. How long have you been using timeCard time recording? We have been using timeCard for 7 years. Version 6 has been installed since January 2016. Our employees sign in and out at the time recording terminal using transponders. Please briefly describe how the software supports you in detail. Our absence management system is now very clear. That’s exactly what we had in mind. Our employees not only have an overview of their absences via the employee terminal, they can also submit, process and cancel absence requests here. It was particularly important for us to be able to map flexitime with time recording software. We wanted to introduce this model to further increase employee motivation. timecard fulfills this requirement according to our wishes. In the employee terminal, each employee is shown both the daily working hours and the flexitime accrued in a monthly overview. This means that everyone has an overview of their overtime and can reduce it accordingly. Of course, you can also submit a special flexitime absence request, which is very practical. As already mentioned, we have employees with different weekly working hours. With timeCard these can be easily mapped, as we can create an individual working time profile for each employee.
If something changes, we adjust this accordingly. Are you satisfied with timeCard? Yes, because timeCard meets all our requirements.
