Interview with Ms. Willing, Head of Accounting

Ms. Willing, please briefly introduce your company. Our company ELBE Decken (Elbe delcon GmbH) is one of the leading suppliers of prefabricated prestressed concrete ceilings in Germany. From our factory in Vockerode near Leipzig, we supply ceiling systems for small and large construction projects throughout Germany, from residential to commercial and industrial buildings. In addition to state-of-the-art production facilities and extensive storage capacity, we also offer the largest variety of products in Germany. We are constantly setting new standards with the ongoing development of our prestressed concrete ceilings, for example the environmentally friendly climate-controlled ceiling. How many employees do you have and what working time models do you have? We currently employ around 60 people in consulting, production and the office. Why did you choose timeCard time recording instead of another system? There were three main reasons: 1. because transferring the data to our payroll program is really straightforward. 2. because it allows different working time models to be used. 3. because vacation and absence requests and planning can be managed efficiently. The easy-to-understand explanation of the system by REINER SCT sales partner Wsoft GmbH also helped us a lot in our decision. This gave us the opportunity to get to know the devices in advance. How long have you been using timeCard? We have been using timeCard since 2016. Please briefly describe how the software supports you in detail. For technological reasons, the working hours of production employees are very variable – especially with regard to the start and end times of individual employees. This can be displayed excellently with the system. Despite the different times, it is always clear who is present and who may be expected at a later time. Employees log in when they arrive and log out when they leave. The production manager is responsible for the correct pre-assignment of working time models in the system. This means he always has control over attendance and absences, hours worked and overtime. In administration, employees log in and out on their PC. Leave is requested from the relevant supervisor, who can decide on the request promptly based on the vacation, shift and absence planning. At the end of the month, the data from the time recording system is evaluated and transferred to the DATEV payroll program. Manual activities are largely eliminated. Are you satisfied with timeCard? Absolutely! On the one hand, the software fully met our requirements. And secondly, we feel very friendly and professionally well looked after by Wsoft GmbH. The installation of the system on site was part of the service, as was intensive user training. All our questions were answered. In addition, Wsoft GmbH carried out all the preparatory work for the introduction of the system for us: Entering names, assigning transponder numbers, etc. In the event of problems with the time recording system, Wsoft GmbH has always worked out an individual solution for us. A first-class service that goes far beyond normal support.
