How many employees do you have and what working time models do you have? Our team consists of 12 employees. We offer modern and contemporary working time models, such as working time accounts. We also have part-time employees. What prompted you to consider using electronic time recording? Our employees’ working hours were recorded until the introduction of timecard were recorded manually. Each employee recorded their daily working hours independently in a calendar book. These were then transferred to a list at the end of the month and totaled manually. This procedure was very time-consuming and error-prone. It was not possible to check or trace the working hours. What specific requirements did you have for the time recording system? We naturally expected various improvements from a modern time recording system. For example, all working times are recorded in real time using transponders or chip cards and transferred to DATEV Lodas via an interface. Equally important to us was the ability to precisely determine and clearly display vacation, sick and absence days. The automatic rounding of working times was also one of our requirements in order to promote the punctuality of our employees. As we are considering purchasing an access control system at a later date, the electronic time recording system should offer this expansion option. Why did you choose timeCard time recording and not another system? Because timeCard not only meets our needs as a trade company, but is also easy to use.
Every employee immediately got to grips with timeCard immediately.
The price-performance ratio was also a decisive factor in our decision, as was the possibility of expanding the system to include access control. How long have you been using timeCard? We have been using time recording since June 2015.
Our employees record their working times using transponders. Please briefly describe how the software supports you in detail. With the introduction of timeCard the punctuality of our employees has increased as desired. In addition to working hours, all vacation, sick and absence days are now recorded precisely for each employee. This means that the days when we kept various lists and laboriously summarized them are finally over. As we are in timecard we can allocate all working hours to the corresponding customer projects, we save a lot of time. What was previously done manually using individual report slips can now be done conveniently at the click of a mouse and invoiced directly. The interface to DATEV Lodas also makes work much easier. This allows the monthly wages to be sent electronically to our payroll office by export e-mail. In addition, we can finally meet the recording obligations of the Minimum Wage Act without any problems. Are you satisfied with timeCard? Absolutely! Because the software meets all our requirements.
