Relo compressor uses timecard from REINER SCT
Until recently, RELO Verdichter in Bautzen still used paper timesheets. The employees wrote down the hours they had worked by hand and Annett Kluge, Head of Human Resources/Finance, checked them. “When we were just a handful of employees, it worked well. works. But since we’ve been growing, it’s too time-consuming”says the business administration graduate. This is why the company started thinking about an electronic time recording system in October 2017. “We wanted a system that was simple and user-friendly,”says Ms Kluge. Further conditions: The administrator should be able to make manual corrections and the hours should be bookable for projects. Among others, RELO wrote to the IT company Wsoft GmbH in Leipzig in February 2018. Theresa Wollesky, responsible for sales and administration, responded immediately. And recommended the time recording system timecard from REINER SCT.
Wsoft is one of eleven specially selected REINER SCT service partners and was trained in the content, technology and installation of the timeCard-products (hardware and software).
The offer, price, location and performance convinced RELO Verdichter. “We involved our employees in the introduction of the system right from the start,”Ms. Kluge looks back. The topic was raised several times at the regular works meetings and the introduction was announced. The employees were able to ask questions and thus familiarize themselves with the electronic solution in advance. The system has been running since May 2018 – without any errors. In the production hall there is a multi-terminal to which the employees hold their chip and the coming and going times are booked. Colleagues in the service department or on business trips use a practical smartphone app to make bookings. “We are highly satisfied with both the system and our service provider,” emphasizes Annett Kluge. With Wsoft, we have a competent contact person for all our questions.” The system is well received by both the employees and Ms. Kluge. For the employees, the system saves time because they no longer have to record their working hours by hand, and it provides greater transparency. They can now see directly on the terminal how many vacation days they have left and whether they are on target with their working hours. Previously, they had to go to the personnel office to do this. Annett Kluge also saves time now.“With just a few clicks, I can now evaluate who has worked how much overtime, who is sick and who is due to go on vacation. The quickly created evaluations mean incredible time savings.”
