This privacy policy applies to thetimeCard 10 app. It explains the type, purpose and scope of data collection when using the app.
Security remarks
Your company has opted for the timeCard time recording software and is using thetimeCard 10 app.
ThetimeCard 10 app only transfers data between the app and the timeCard server of the customer/company via a secure connection.
All employees of the company are bound to data secrecy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The technical and organizational security measures in accordance with Article 32 of the General Data Protection Regulation are continuously adapted to the current circumstances and requirements.
When you install and use thetimeCard 10 app, the data that your company needs for its own evaluations is collected from you. Data is collected for the purpose defined by your company.
When using thetimeCard 10 app, data such as the first name and surname of the respective employee are always saved by the timeCard server and displayed.
In thetimeCard 10 app, only the working time bookings and, if applicable, the GPS position, if this is activated by your employer*, are recorded and sent to the timeCard server of your company.

The collection of personal data by thetimeCard 10 app only takes place if you have expressly consented to the collection of data as part of the terms of use of thetimeCard 10 app and the operator of thetimeCard 10 app (your company) is legally entitled to do so. The data is stored on the timeCard server in your company’s IT system.
Analysis tools
When you accessthetimeCard 10 app, your behavior may be statistically evaluated with the help of analysis
tools and analyzed for purposes defined by your company. Please contact your company for details.
Access rights for the timeCard 10 app
To provide the services via thetimeCard 10 app, thetimeCard 10 app requires the access rights listed below, which allow you to access certain functions of your device:
- Location data
Access to the Bluetooth function on the device is required to activate it if working time bookings are to contain GPS coordinates. This is determined by your employer.
- Device memory
Access is required to save documents (if desired by the user) and to cache displayed information and data.
- Camera
Access is necessary for easier setup of thetimeCard 10 app.
Encryption
The transfer of data between thetimeCard 10 app and the timeCard server of your company takes place via a secure HTTPS connection. This prevents the data you transmit from being read by unauthorized third parties.
Integration of third-party services and content
The operator of thetimeCard 10 app may pass on personal data to third parties for the functions of the app. Please contact your company for details.
Information, deletion, blocking
You have the right to obtain information free of charge at any time about your stored
personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing as well as a right to rectification, blocking or deletion of this data. You can contact your company at any time if you have further questions on the subject of personal data.
