Furtwangen, February 09, 2009 – The Black Forest-based company will be showing visitors to its stand D11 in Hall 17 its devices for processing chip cards for a wide range of applications such as home banking, digital signatures and time recording systems.
Chip card reader with RFID function
The cyberJack® e-com plus chip card reader is celebrating its premiere there.
Awarded the Secoder security certificate, the card reader is suitable for both professional and private use.
It supports all current and future applications such as: Online banking via HBCI or EBICS, Secoder, GeldKarte, youth protection feature, electronic (mass) signature, data encryption, single sign-on, eTicketing, electronic health card, electronic ID card and passport.
The cyberJack® e-com plus can optionally be equipped with an RFID function and can therefore also process contactless ID cards, such as the new electronic ID card (ePA) and contactless credit cards.
The new chip card reader will be available from March 2009.
Read data directly from the monitor
The new chipTAN comfort procedure, which celebrated its premiere last year and recently went into series production, will also be presented.
The new procedure, which is based on the ZKA standard HHD 1.32, replaces the previous paper TAN list with a device with which the online banking TAN is generated electronically by the bank card (ec card) with TAN application.
The user reads in their transaction data such as recipient account and transfer amount via an optical interface on the TAN generator, thereby avoiding double manual entry.
All the user has to do is hold the device briefly in front of the screen.
The data is automatically included in the TAN generation and can only be used for this transaction.
REINER SCT played a key role in developing the process and is the only manufacturer to date to have two devices ready for series production: the tanJack® optic SE and the tanJack® optic CE.
This solution will soon be offered by savings banks and banks.
Time recording and access control at a glance at all times
Time recording and access control systems will be another of Reiner SCT’s topics at CeBIT.
The manufacturer recently launched a large-scale campaign for its time recording solution timeCard.
The campaign kicked off with the new website www.reiner-sct.com/zeit.
Interested companies and resellers can find comprehensive information on time recording at a glance.
The website summarizes all product details in a clear format and provides demo versions of the current timeCard software for download.
“Professional time recording offers immense productivity and cost-saving potential for companies of different sizes and in different industries,” comments Carsten Sommer, Managing Director of Reiner SCT.
The ability to record different activities separately makes it transparent, for example, which tasks and projects take up how much time.
On the other hand, billing processes also become more efficient and therefore require less working time.
“What is technically new about our timeCard solution is that it offers time recording and access control via a database in an easy-to-use system for the first time, especially for small and medium-sized companies.
This makes it possible for companies to map flexible working hours quickly and without extensive training and to give employees regulated access during these times,” says Carsten Sommer.
This makes it possible for small and medium-sized companies to flexibly cushion order gaps and peaks, in the interests of both companies and employees, whether through the targeted management of temporary staff or working time accounts for the core workforce.
The basis for this development is today’s good networking in companies via LAN and WLAN, which is now standard in all company sizes. (The text contains approx. 4,390 characters)
