New flat readers for mobile Internet stores and new software for securely storing data in the cloud are the highlights from REINER SCT at this year’s “it-sa”.
Security to go
REINER SCT has developed the “cyberJack go” reader especially for secure and convenient online banking and online payment with notebooks.
Special features of the flat and stylish reader for the trouser pocket: Thanks to the integrated flash memory, the user can take his application, such as financial software, with him.
Thanks to the USB connection, the device is also ready for use on the move – sometimes even without installation or admin rights.
The Secoder security standard and security class 3 ensure that transmitted data is protected.
Carry out online banking transactions, make payments and securely authenticate yourself – all securely with smartphones and tablet PCs: REINER SCT has developed the flat “cyberJack wave” reader for this purpose.
The mobile device is suitable for contactless (e.g. new ID card) and contact (e.g. ec cards) chip cards.
The data is transmitted via Bluetooth and RFID.
The high level of protection is guaranteed by the Secoder standard and security class 3.
The device works with an integrated rechargeable battery, which is charged via microUSB.
Another highlight is the three-centimetre TFT display, which allows completely new display options.
On “cloud nine”
Storing data securely in the cloud – this is now possible with “cloudCockpit” from REINER SCT.
In cloud computing, data is usually only encrypted when it is transferred from the computer to the cloud – in the cloud itself, it is usually unprotected.
The new Windows software from REINER SCT protects the data stored in the cloud from unauthorized access by third parties.
It encrypts and decrypts the data quickly and fully automatically – the user requires no special knowledge.
The data can be secured using a password or chip card.
The most important cloud services, such as Dropbox, Google, Microsoft, Computer Bild and STRATO, are already preconfigured.
Other providers and storage media can be integrated with just a few clicks using a convenient wizard. About REINER SCT REINER SCT has been developing, manufacturing and distributing readers for smart cards since 1997.
