With the cloud software Cockpit ® software, private individuals and business people can store their data securely encrypted in the cloud.
Thanks to the new app for smartphones, this is now also possible on the move.
REINER SCT presents the new cloud Cockpit ® app, which is already included in the license agreement of just under 10 euros per year, at CeBIT.
Why do you need cloud cockpit ® and the app?
With cloud computing, data is usually only encrypted when it is transferred from the computer to the cloud – in the cloud itself, it is usually unprotected.
Access to the data is also usually only secured with a simple password.
Anyone who knows or cracks it has free rein.
The new Windows software from REINER SCT protects the data stored in the cloud from unauthorized third parties.
It encrypts and decrypts the data quickly and automatically – the user requires no special knowledge.
The most important cloud services, such as Dropbox, Google, Microsoft, Computer Bild and STRATO, are already preconfigured.
Other providers and storage media can be integrated with just a few clicks using a convenient wizard.
Top marks in expert test
The importance of protecting cloud data was recently confirmed by the leading German computer magazines.
They tested cloud Cockpit and gave the software top marks across the board.
PC go magazine, for example, awarded the software top marks in the individual test of cloud Cockpit in the 2/2013 issue with the rating “very good”: “cloud cockpit ensures security in the cloud with online backup and encryption. Access to the data for third parties is also quite straightforward.” Business & IT magazine has also rated cloud cockpit and rated it “excellent” in the 2/2013 issue: “Online data storage is practical, but usually has a weak point: simple password protection. The software cloud Cockpit ® from REINER SCT solves the problem by storing all data in encrypted form in the data cloud.” The magazine takes a similar view PC Magazine – It awarded the grade “good” in the 1/2013 issue: “cloud Cockpit provides additional security in the cloud. The software is ideal as an online backup.”
