Furtwangen, September 19, 2007 – Reiner SCT has created a new print advertising campaign and a 20-page special publication for this purpose, which will appear as an insert in Focus Money and in the computer magazine CHIP.
The special publication explains the current dangers of online banking, effective protective measures, advantages and additional benefits of HBCI with chip card.
The campaign will initially run from September to March next year.
The campaign is supported by Euro Kartensysteme, which markets the GeldKarte on behalf of the banking industry. HBCI with chip card is currently regarded as the most secure procedure for home banking, with some banks already using it more than 22 percent of the time. HBCI with chip card protects the data even on a virus-infected PC.
Transactions only take place if the user has identified himself with a chip card and PIN using a reader on the computer.
As a rule, users work locally on the computer with HBCI software. But you can do without it. Some banks and savings banks offer HBCI with a chip card as an alternative in browser banking.
In addition to a considerable increase in security, the online banker has a range of additional options.
These include: electronic signature, loading the GeldKarte via the Internet, anonymous online payment procedures and password management.
The GeldKarte can now also be topped up online from home using the chip card reader.
The computer thus becomes an online ATM on your desk. (The text contains approx. 2,137 characters)
