Table of contents

Furtwangen / Hanover, March 7, 2014 – REINER SCT, specialist for hardware and software solutions for online security from the Black Forest, will be represented at several stands at this year’s CeBIT in Hanover (March 10-14, 2014).
The most important message from the Black Forest company at the trade fair: If you want to achieve security in your online transactions, you need a second piece of hardware, such as TAN generators or chip card readers!
Online security as well as time recording and access solutions are the topics of REINER SCT at this year’s CeBIT.
“In view of the almost daily reports of cybercrime attacks on private individuals and companies, one thing is clear: protection for online banking and other transactions on the Internet must be given a higher priority,” says Andreas Staiger, Managing Director of the company.
REINER SCT will be demonstrating the simple means – both secure and convenient – with which this can be achieved at several locations at the trade fair: At the stand of the Federal Ministry of the Interior in Hall 7 in the Public Sector Parc, REINER SCT will be presenting its vending machine for chip card readers.
All of the company’s readers for the new ID card can be purchased there.
The mobile reader “cyber Jack go plus“, recently certified by the German Banking Industry, is also available there.
It can now bear the “Secoder security-tested, recommended by banks and savings banks” seal and is particularly suitable for securing payment transactions, online banking and electronic signatures thanks to its high level of protection.
At the Bundesdruckerei stand, also in the Public Sector Parc in Hall 7, Stand C18, the new compact “cyber Jack wave” smart card reader will be demonstrated in action.
The reader works wirelessly via Bluetooth and is therefore predestined for mobile use with a notebook, tablet or smartphone. REINER SCT will be represented at the stands of its sales partners edv.deecon-IT(Hall 5, Stand 21) and LANOS(Hall 2, Stand A51) with the time recording and access control solution “time Card“, which was specially developed for smaller companies.
The new product addition from the Black Forest company – a first result of the new partnership with locking solution provider Assa Abloy – will also be presented there: A wireless electronic access control system with which mechanical door locks can be retrofitted easily and inexpensively.
econ-IT will be demonstrating how it now secures office, archive and server doors.
On Wednesday, March 12, REINER SCT invites you to the Bank Day.
Representatives of financial institutions will be offered a full-day lecture program on current topics in secure online banking.
Among others, Bundesdruckerei will talk about transaction visualization with the ID card, Sparkasse Mönchengladbach will report on its successful online banking sales approach and Martin Willing (formerly LKA Wiesbaden, “Cybercrime and ICT Investigations” department) will give his highly acclaimed presentation on cybercrime.
