Intelligent algorithms ensure error-free, almost fully automatic categorization of your expenses. You can freely define your categories and store your own rules. Split postings enable the exact allocation of categories to partial amounts of postings. Actual income/expenses are determined by Banking4 through cash flow analysis of the postings and transfers between own accounts are thus reliably excluded from evaluations.
Banking4 automatically tracks your expected credits and scheduled payments and warns you in the event of late payments or unexpected postings. An automatic list of all your direct debit authorizations (direct debit mandates) shows ongoing direct debit collections, which is extremely helpful when switching accounts.
Banking4 is available in optimized versions for Windows and macOS. The data vault files, which are identical on all platforms, can be easily copied between the platforms, even online from the app via WebDAV or Dropbox if desired.
Banking4 for desktop PCs and USB sticks runs on all PCs with Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10. Banking4 is not compatible with Windows 8 RT. Only approx. 8 megabytes of memory are required on the data carrier for the installation. It is recommended to install Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or a newer version on the PC. In addition to the operating system, Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 or newer is required. If the Microsoft .NET Framework is not yet available, please first install the latest version of the Microsoft .NET Framework via “Windows Update” > “Custom Search”. For a portable installation on USB sticks, all USB sticks are supported with special use of the PortableApps infrastructure. A PC/SC compatible smart card reader is required for the use of smart cards. For the secure PIN entry of class 2 or class 3 smart card readers, the driver of the smart card reader must support at least version 2.0.1 of the PC/SC standard. Of course, smart card readers according to the Secoder and Secoder 2 standard are also supported.
Banking4 for macOS runs on all Mac notebooks and Mac desktops with Mac OS X or higher. Retina resolution is also fully supported on all platforms.
