Of course, maximum security is ensured for all processes. This is because only the data that you release with the chip card reader by entering your PIN is read out. Which authentication app should I use?

Preferably not an app, but a hardware device such as the REINER SCT Authenticator. This does not require an Internet connection and offers the highest level of security.

How do I choose the right chip card reader for my needs?

The choice of the right chip card reader depends on the planned applications. For secure online banking, for example, security class 3 readers are recommended. What is the REINER SCT login software and how does it work?

The REINER SCT Login software enables secure login to Windows computers using two-factor authentication (2FA) with TOTP (Time-based One-Time Password). The software generates or checks time-based one-time passwords (TOTP), which are stored on a separate device, e.g. the REINER SCT Authenticator. This ensures additional security protection by requiring a second authentication factor in addition to the Windows password.
