SUSY base station
SUSY is a unique communication system for senior citizens and consists of a base station that is placed in the living area of an elderly person, for example. Relatives can now communicate with the elderly person at any time via text, picture, video and voice messages as well as video calls. Relatives only need the free SUSY app for Android or iOS on their smartphone.
The older person does not need any technical knowledge. In emergencies, SUSY immediately alerts the next of kin.
SUSY is communicative. All you need for the base station to access the Internet is a WLAN connection at the older person’s home. If there is no Internet via DSL or fiber optics, an LTE (4/5G) router with WLAN (not included) is also sufficient.
SUSY license
You need a valid license to operate the SUSY base station. The license is billed monthly as a service fee by subscription and can be cancelled monthly. Price: EUR 19.90 incl. VAT. This service fee includes regular updates, operation of the servers in Germany and the EU, maintenance and further development of the apps and the base station as well as support. The license is automatically transferred to your registered base station after purchase.
Not supported smartphones
Unfortunately, the SUSY app cannot support smartphones/tablets from OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo, Realme and iQOO as they do not contain the necessary software components.
