The tanJack^® deluxe combines state-of-the-art technology with maximum security by serving as a first-class TAN generator for online banking and as a premium authenticator for two-factor authentication (2FA). The tanJack^® deluxe offers maximum security and outstanding user-friendliness for your online banking. Thanks to chipTAN QR and Sm@rt-TAN photo, the device captures graphic codes at lightning speed, regardless of position and end device. All transaction data and TANs are clearly shown on the large display. With the integrated card slot, you can securely generate TANs with your bank or SparkassenCard.

In addition, the tanJack^® deluxe also supports two-factor authentication (2FA) by securely storing electronic keys and generating highly accurate TOTP one-time passwords every 30 seconds – a method expressly recommended by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).

Why does the new Sparkassen-Card / DKB Girocard not work with my existing TAN generator?

The technology of the Sparkassen-Card / DKB Girocard has been further developed. Therefore, the new Sparkassen-Card / DKB Girocard is no longer compatible with the chipTAN optic TAN generators.

How do I dispose of my old TAN generator properly?

Never dispose of in household waste! You must dispose of used TAN generators as old electrical appliances (electrical waste) and separately from the batteries they contain. We recommend disposing of it at a recycling center or an appropriate collection point in your city or municipality.

What is a TAN generator?

The TAN generator calculates a six-digit TAN from the transmitted data. It is charged separately for each transaction and is only valid for a short time and only for this one order. Enter this number in the field provided in the online banking area to finalize the transfer.

Can I still use my old card?

With a normal card exchange (follow-up card), you can still use your old card until the end of the year. However, as soon as you use the new card in online banking, you can no longer switch back to the old card.
