Is the eAU legally binding?

Yes, the eAU is legally binding. According to the statutory provisions, the electronic certificate of incapacity for work is legally equivalent to the conventional paper-based certificate of incapacity for work. Employers are obliged to recognize the eAU and act accordingly.

How often are there program updates, how do I get updates?

Thanks to regular updates, you are always up to date with timeCard. These are made available to you by your REINER SCT partner.

What are the benefits of web-based time recording?

Transparency and security: Employers are legally on the safe side with digital time recording. You can prove compliance with working hours and break times to the legislator and therefore there is no risk of violating the Employee Protection and Labor Act.

How are the termination modalities regulated?

The timeCard basic license has an unlimited term. The employee licenses have a term of 1 year and do not have to be terminated. Before the licenses expire, the system will inform you as a customer of the expiration date by e-mail. If no new licenses are registered, the software can still be viewed after the licenses expire, but it will no longer be possible to edit the data.

Is my company data secure?

Yes, your employees’ sensitive data is 100% protected. In addition, timeCard is GDPR-compliant.
