How the bluetoothTAN procedure works
The security technology of the bluetoothTAN procedure is based on the evaluated chipTAN procedure. The transfer data is checked and approved in the same way as with the chipTAN procedure. The TAN is generated and transmitted to the online banking app via Bluetooth after a keystroke.
Prerequisites
In addition to the Bluetooth-enabled TAN generator, a device with a suitable online banking application that supports Bluetooth is required. These can be smartphones, tablets, but also the classic PC.
